I am Achhaya Pathak, a Software and Backend Engineer based in Gurugram, India. I hold a Master’s degree in Mathematics and Computing from the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science from Hansraj College, University of Delhi.

Over the past several years, I have been architecting distributed systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), high-performance web applications (Rust/WASM, Next.js), and autonomous AI agent pipelines.

What I Work On↗

  • Distributed Systems & Data Pipelines: Designing fault-tolerant, high-throughput microservices using Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, and PostgreSQL. From building distributed document search services processing millions of records with sub-200ms latencies, to automated Snowflake ETL pipelines handling 5+ TB of data monthly.
  • JoinUp: Co-founder of JoinUp, a production-grade professional events marketplace. I lead the end-to-end backend, geospatial discovery engine (Google Maps API + PostgreSQL, sub-500ms p99), and cloud architecture.
  • Autonomous AI & Performance Systems: Architected LLM-driven trading agents on Hyperliquid with RabbitMQ microservices within Confidential Virtual Machines (CVMs), and built high-performance Rust/WASM ledger applications.
  • Applied Mathematics & Research: Authored research on Optimal Payment Splitting in Bitcoin’s Lightning Network, modeling network liquidity through dynamic programming to resolve blockchain transaction saturation.
